There are many varieties of ferns that may have slightly varying care needs, but generally they prefer filtered light/shade, plenty of moisture, high humidity, and nutrient rich soil. They make great bathroom plants, provided there is a window.

Low to moderate; can vary by species but most prefer shade (north or east facing window)
